Utviklingshuset - Center for Development Cooperation The Center for Development Cooperation is an information- and experience center about aid and development. The main target audience is youth in the age of 15-19, but the experiences within have a broad appeal and the House also addresses those with special interest and the general public. The Center for Development Cooperation contains a permanent exhibition with interactive installations, a collaborative learning program and a space for temporary exhibitions. Through involvement, the public gains knowledge about why Norway is engaged in development cooperation, dilemmas within development cooperation and the relationship between aid and development. The Centers purpose is to engage the visitors and contribute to increased reflection and debate about development cooperation. The collaborative learning program is specifically developed for school classes. A class is divided into three groups, who together create a plan for how they will combat poverty and create development in two fictitious countries. Expology has developed and produced all content and installations at the Center.
