NHO Annual Conference

Expology contributed to the NHO Annual Conference in 2004 and 2005. The theme for the first year was the pensions system of the future, a relevant-but-difficult theme to communicate in a thorough and at the same time, simple way to 750 participants from the social and business world. NHO wanted a more interesting form of communication and presentation, without losing sight of the seriousness of the subject matter. NHO, Expology and Burson-Marsteller collaborated closely to develop the content, educational presentation style and media strategy. The theme demanded a high level of co-operation with, and participation from specialists from other milieus.

The delegates alternated between participating in full meetings and smaller groups, where the debates took place around tables with the opportunity to give feedback through voting, voting cards and voting slips. The opinions expressed by those taking part influenced the further content of the full meetings. The conference was brought together with musical and humorous observations by the compere Ingrid Bjørnov, and by on overall design programme which was planned out to the last detail. Expology was responsible for the design, multimedia, enrolment system, as well as the pedagogic content and presentation.

The conference received a great deal of media coverage and excellent evaluation results. The compere set the mood of the conference in a masterful way and saw to it that there was perspective and humour in a serious and difficult debate. The conference took the participants seriously, with new forms of communication in a thoroughly prepared content. check this
